What an exciting time being able to open a new NGP studio with a little party! If you know me personally, you know I love to throw themed children’s parties almost as much as I love photography. I thought combining these two loves would be a perfect way to celebrate the first day in this new space. I chose a unicorn theme, since it’s my most requested session theme, and invited a few family members and longtime clients.
While the studio will typically be used to newborn and children’s sessions, it also makes a great little event space for children’s parties.
When the girls first arrived, they picked a party dress and accessories from the NGP client stash and we dove right into fun unicorn activities. We decorated wooden unicorns, made beaded bracelets, created unicorn masks, and colored unicorn pictures. We then played unicorn ring toss, jumped in confetti and balloons, took turns riding the carousel unicorn, and ended with eating glittery cupcakes.
