Another year of magical unicorn sessions in the books! It was a bittersweet year for us since it was our first year doing these sessions without our beloved unicorn Sugar, but we made up for it by having TWO unicorns at the sessions this year. It was also an extra special year because the sessions ended in unicorn rides- such a fun new addition for the kids!! I am beyond thankful I was able to find not only one, but two sweet white ponies for these sessions! We also made another new prop for these sessions to keep it new and exciting for returning families. The “stone” arch was another foam build that my dad and I took on and I love how it turned out! In 2024 we plan to offer these sessions with many client favorite unicorn sets to give them more choice and variety. I can’t wait!

Like several of our other prop builds, the giant arch was made of insulation foam boards. After forming the complicated curved arch frame, each stone was hand drawn, carved, sculpted, and then painted. It was the most time-consuming build to date but turned out exactly as I imagined! Here’s a quick peek at different stages of the build. What should we build next???
